Job Vacancy: Deputy Manager for Smartkidz Play and Learn

 

Leading play at Girton Glebe Primary School, Girton, CB3 0PN

 

Are you passionate about children’s play? Are you creative, driven and self motivated?

 

“Smartkidz Play and Learn” is out of school care with a difference. At Smartkidz we believe that children are the masters of their own play and should therefore be free to play with as little adult intervention as possible.

 

We are looking for a deputy manager to work with our management team to help innovate and drive forward our out of school club business. Your role will consist of:

  • Play leading at Girton, one of our leading out of school and holiday clubs.
  • Working with our other settings to help innovate and support play within the settings.
  • Support, manage and offer training to Play staff.
  • Supporting the day to day management of Smartkidz play and learn to make sure they are following Ofsted guidelines and Smartkidz ethos.

7:30-9:00am and 15:00 to 18:00

Monday to Friday

30 hours per week during holiday clubs

 

Administration of deputy role to be completed on a week by week basis. Deputy manager administration hours to be confirmed.

 

Annual salary starting from £16,800.

Job Vacancy: Holiday Club Playworker

 

Smartkidz play and learn are looking for an enthusiastic and creative member of staff, who enjoys working with children between the ages of 4 and 11 years old and has a love for the outdoors, to support the management in driving forward our holiday Play schemes.

No qualifications are necessary however experience in childcare and a willingness to attend relevant training is essential.

 

HOLIDAY CLUB RUNS FROM 8:00AM UNTIL 6:00PM IN ALL HOLIDAYS (EXCLUDING CHRISTMAS)

WORKING HOURS WILL BE DISCUSSED ON A HOLIDAY BY HOLIDAY BASIS.

 

Applicants must be over the age of 17 and successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and must attend our core training.
