Deputy Playleader
Job Type: Permanent

Smartkidz @ Girton are looking for a responsible, creative, enthusiastic and organised Deputy Playleader who will Support our Playleader to lead a team to drive forward our after school and holiday club. The club has between 20 and 55 children attending daily.
Candidates should have some experience of working in a childcare/playwork setting and ideally in supervisory role (although not essential) with good all round leadership skills.
Disable specifics: candidates to have qualifications in Pediatric first aid, Designated child protection and food safety level 2, however training will be provided.and candidates must be willing and keen to partake in all training.
Main duties:
- responsibility for Supporting the day to day management of the club, including all aspects of appropriate paperwork
- responsible for ensuring a strong play environment for the children
- ensure all children receive and outstanding level of care and all requirements are met.
- To be a positive role model to both staff and children
- to work closely and communicate well with the senior management team and other Senior team members in the company
The job will consist of up to 25 hours per week. exact hours to be negotiated
Holiday Play scheme hours will be agreed separately and paid as overtime
Hourly rate is pro rata.
The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and references.

Play Workers

Smartkidz play and learn are looking for an enthusiastic and creative members of staff who enjoys working with children between the ages of 4 and 11 years old to support the management in driving forward our brand new after school and holiday club.
No qualifications are necessary however experience in childcare and a willingness to attend relevant training is essential.
Pay will be paid pro rata. Pay will be depending on experience and qualifications
The job will consist of 15 hours per week during term time as follows:
3:00pm to 6:00pm in after school club, Monday to Friday (job share may be available).
With hours per week in our holiday play schemes paid as overtime or can be paid as contacted hours.
Applicants must be over the age of 18 and successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
Holiday playworker
Job Type: Permanent

Working across all of our holiday club settings.

No qualifications are necessary however experience in childcare and a willingness to attend relevant training is essential.
Pay will be paid As overtime. Pay will be depending on experience and qualifications
Our clubs run from 7:50am to 6:00pm and you may be asked to work full day or half day work.
Applicants must be over the age of 18 and successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
