Smartkidz @ Cherry Hinton

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative member of staff who enjoys working with children between the ages of 4 and 11 years old, to support the management team in driving forward our out of school club in Cherry Hinton Primary School.

As a Playleader, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the organisation. This includes maintaining and updating paperwork, supervising playworkers to ensure they provide high-quality childcare, and ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures. You will also be expected to create a fun and engaging play environment both indoors and outdoors for the children, assist with play activities, and organise snacks. Along with these duties, you will be required to attend Playleader meetings and take on designated child protection roles within the setting.

2 Years experience working in a supervisory role with children is preferred 

Successful candidate will be expected to complete Designated safeguard training, Paediatric first aid, Food safety level 2 and other necessary training for the role.

13 Hours per week (Monday to Thursday in club and 1 hours administration time per week)

Salary: From £12.00 per hour

Bank staff and Holiday club Play worker

We are looking for play workers to help cover and work with our fantastic teams in offering high quality play opportunities to children in our after school and holiday club.

Your role with consist of:

  • Following and supporting staff in the delivery of the PARS model of play work to offer a high level of play opportunities to the children.
  • Preparing and offering snack to the children.
  • Working alongside our policies and procedures to ensure quality childcare.
  • Working inline with our quality assurance
  • Attending relevant training.

Breakfast clubs run from 7:30am to 9:00am.

After school club runs from 15:00 to 18:00.

Holiday clubs run from 8:00 to 18:00.
